A man accused by police of raping and stalking women he met on ‘well known’ dating sites for almost a decade has been charged with a spate of offences.
An Adelaide man has been arrested and charged, accused of stalking and raping women he met on dating sites over a nine-year period.
Police will allege the 35-year-old man, from the city’s northern suburbs, targeted women in their 30s across metropolitan Adelaide.
He allegedly met the majority of his victims online through “well known” dating sites and sent social media requests to the woman.
Following extensive inquiries, police arrested the man on Thursday and charged him with seven counts of stalking, as well as rape and unlawful sexual intercourse over the alleged incidents that occurred between 2012 and 2021.
He will appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
