The watch, pictured right, lifted sales and earnings guidance, with shares up 15 per cent.
Revenue rose 44.6 per cent to £586.2million for the six months to October 31 compared with the period last year.
The group said strong demand for luxury watches and jewellery fuelled a ‘robust’ UK performance buoyed by thriving domestic business, despite fewer tourist shoppers.
Watches of Switzerland expects annual revenues of between £1.15billion and £1.2billion for the year and hailed 50 per cent growth in the US where it has five new stores.
Duffy said: ‘We have enjoyed reconnecting with customers.’
